Elizabeth "Liz" Clark
January 10, 1933 ~ February 21, 2015

Elizabeth “Liz” Clark passed away Saturday evening, February 21, 2015 at the age of 82 years.    

The daughter of the late Victor Yeager Smith and Elizabeth Floyd Smith, Liz was born on January 10, 1933 in Borger, Texas.  She came to the Jennings Community as a child and was raised and educated in Jennings, graduating from Jennings High School with the class of 1951.    

She was united in marriage to Delbert Earl Beaver and to this union two daughters, Debra and Janie were born.    

For several years owned and operated a restaurant in Jennings and later worked in Tulsa and Sand Springs.  Cushing became her home in 2005.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mannford; was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi and the Order of the Eastern Star.  She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.    

Survivors include her two daughters, Debra Ann Baker (Bob) of Broken Arrow and  Janie Todd (David) of Cushing; one brother Joe Smith (Kay) of Cushing; one sister, Wanda Standridge of Mannford; her grandchildren, Michael Baker (Erin) of Broken Arrow and Ben Todd (Breann) of Perkins; her great-grandchildren, Kaliber, Kynzee and Mattilyn; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.    

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Jim Smith, Jane DonCarlos and Margaret Cathey.    

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Mannford.     Burial will follow in the Jennings Cemetery, Jennings, Oklahoma.
