Rita Ann Lamirand Woodward

Rita Ann Lamirand Woodward was born October 2, 1953, in Oklahoma City OK. She left this world for a better world December 5th, 2022.

Rita Graduated from Pawnee High School in 1971. She married Terry Woodward May 26, 1972. She graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with an Elementary Education Teaching Degree in 1976

She taught for 40 years at Sperry, McAlester, and Shawnee Public Schools collectively.

She is survived by her Husband of over 50 years Terry of the home in Shawnee. Their son’s Jonathan and Wife Elaine and Chadd Woodward all of Edmond OK. Four grandchildren Madison, Max, Hannah, and Emma Woodward of Edmond OK. One sister Jolynn Cash and brother-in-law David Cash of Owasso Oklahoma. As well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Rita was preceded in death by parents Glenn and Marjorie Lamirand.
