Rachael Elizabeth Mathes Salyer

October 6, 1892 ~ January 30, 1963

PAWNEE - Funeral services for Mrs. Rachel Elizabeth Salyer, 76, will be 2:30 p.m.. Sunday in the chapel of the Poteet Funeral Home here. The Rev. W. R. Reddout, pastor of the Assembly of God Church, Skedee, will officiate. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery .

Mrs. Salyer, who was born October 6, 1892, in Fremont , Neb., died Wednesday in a Pawnee hospital.

She was married to Lonnie A. Salyer on Feb. 19, 1912 at Fairview. They lived in Hobart 25 years coming to Pawnee in 1951 from California, where they had lived about a year. Mrs. Salyer was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church at Skedee.

Surviving are her husband of the home; a son, Jack B. , Stillwater; two daughters, Mrs. Joe A . Wilson, Perkins and Mrs. Richard Marin, Ontario, Calif.; four brothers , George Mathes, Alva, John Mathes 310 North Eighth, Ponca City, Marion Mathes, Detroit Lakes, Minn., and Joe Mathes, Olivehurst, Calif., 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
