Graveside services for Velma Mae Ramey, 91, Ponca City, Oklahoma resident, will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, November 17, 2020 in the Pawnee Cemetery, Pawnee, Oklahoma with Cheryl Bryce officiating. Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Velma was born on October 4, 1929 in Pawnee, Oklahoma, the daughter of George and Opal (Grote) Spiller, and passed away peacefully on November 10, 2020 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. She was raised and educated in Pawnee, Oklahoma, attending Meramec Schools. Velma married William Earl Ramey October 31, 1948 in Pawnee. She attended Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include daughters, Vicki (David) Reed of Long Beach, Mississippi, Lisa (Cary) Jennings of Ponca City, Oklahoma; son, Dennis (Jane) Ramey Lolo, Montana; grandchildren, Ally Jennings, Hannah Jennings, Tina Ramey, Brian Ramey; great-grandchildren, Clayton, Raelynn, Brittaney, Lindsey and Destiney; Velma’s Beloved Yorkie, Misty. Velma was preceded in passing by her husband, Bill, parents, brother, Earl Spiller, and sister, Ruth Lassiter. The family would like to thank Velma’s private caretakers, Precise Home Health staff, Via Christi Village staff and Hospice of North Central Oklahoma.
