He enjoyed driving his UTV in the Colorado Mountains, teaching grandkids about the joys of fixing things, and watching his grandkids compete in sports. Also surviving are grandchildren (Kindi, Kaylla, Kolbe, Cammi, Teagan, Aiden, Brody, Kanen, Kirsi, Aspen, and ‘Lil John who is on his way, his sister Donna Vigil of Pawnee, brother James “Dink” Novotny of Pawnee, and brother Floyd Novotny of Ponca City.

Johnnie was preceded in death by his parents, John and Frances Novotny.

Funeral services will be officiated by Rev. Russell Hughes at a graveside service at Pawnee Highland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donation be made to the “Johnnie Novotny Memorial Fund” at First Bank and Trust in Pawnee. Proceeds will go to the Pawnee High School Baseball and Softball programs.
