Gerald "Jerry" Heppel

Gerald Heppel passed away on Monday, May 4, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at 2:00pm at Highland Cemetery in Pawnee, Oklahoma Dighton Marler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Gerald "Jerry" Grew up in Skedee, OK. He was born in Ralston, OK on July 6, 1934 to Frank and Christel Heppel. He graduated from Skedee High School. Gerald was married to Luella Elizabeth Brewer on September 23, 1952 in Skedee, OK at the Methodist Church.

Gerald was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He was loved by all for his kind and gentle nature. He had a love for tractors and trains. He loved the Lord with all his heart. He never claimed to be perfect, but he strived to be a good example for others. He prayed faithfully for all. "Dad""Papa" "Jjerry" or Gerald, no matter what you call him, he will be immensely missed by his family and friends. We will remember how he laughed, how he cared, how he was always there for you. He had a way to make you feel better when things weren’t going well. No one will ever take his place here on earth, but heaven has received a wonderful addition. We love you Dad!

Gerald and Luella have one son, Gerald Heppel and his wife, Lisa and daughter, Crystal; and one daughter, Vickie Heppel and her three daughters Lindsay Beaton, husband Kyle, daughters Anna Claire and Aubrey Cate; Jana Robinson and her daughter Maya; Alisha Clark, Husband Chris, children Katelyn, Evelyn, Henry, and Owen.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Luella, sister Naomi Bode, brothers Jimmy Heppel, Daniel Heppel and Donald Heppel.

He is survived by brothers Leslie Heppel and Dale Heppel and many extended family members.
