Tony Rochelle Geeen

greentr

June 24, 1960 ~ January 1, 2021

Tony was born June 24, 1960 at Pawnee Municipal Hospital to R.D. and Berthena Caine-Green. Tony was the third of four sons born to R.D. and Berthena. He attended Pawnee Public Schools and graduated in May of 1979.

He went on to attend the Vocational School at Drumright, OK, taking up the trade of welding. For a short while, he worked at Fox-Fab in Pawnee welding but went on to pursue other occupations. He worked as a security guard at the Cushing Prison and worked also as a security guard at the Seven Clans Casino and at the Pawnee Post. Tony worked numerous jobs, but none brought him as much pleasure as working at the Pawnee Sale Barn where he committed forty years of his life every Saturday.

Among his many loves in life was his family, friends, fishing, chewing tobacco (Skoal Long Cut), Diet Mountain Dew, and listening to his scanner so he could be the first to report to the family what was going on in Pawnee. It became a family joke that he gave better reports than the Pawnee Chief.

Tony was a very loving and caring person. He was loved by everyone that met him. In his lifetime, he made many friends with no recollection of anyone disliking his sincere and often straight-forward, blunt approach to life. Tony passed from this temporary life on Earth to be with his eternal Heavenly Father January 1, 2021.

Tony is preceded in death by younger brother Raymond Derel and his wife Rayma Dawn, father R.D. Green, both maternal and paternal grandparents and many other close relatives.

Left to cherish his memories are his mother Berthena Green of Pawnee, brothers, Ed and his wife Wanda of Maramec, OK, Randy and his fiance Cheraine Wood of Pawnee, OK, nieces Ashley Morgan and husband Quinton Morgan of Stillwater, OK, Kelsie Green and fiance Brandan Johnson of Oklahoma City, OK, nephew Chace Green of Cleveland, OK, and great nephews and great nieces Amier RayVon Maul, Addison Jade, Carter Samuel, and Major Quinton Morgan, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family would also like to Thank everyone who called, sent cards, brought food, prayed or thought of us during this time of Tony's Home Going.
