Susan Jill Chapman passed from this life on March 30, 2022, at the age of 62.

Susan was born on August 16, 1959, at the Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California. Susan traveled the world as she grew up while her father was in the Air Force. She finally settled in Pawnee and Stillwater. Susan attended South Dade Senior High School in Homestead, Florida and attended Draughon College in Tulsa. Susan worked for Oklahoma State University, Fire Protection Publications, Frontier Engineering, and was a full time Mother and Grandma.

Susan loved spending time with family. Susan enjoyed celebrating everyone’s birthday, making birthday cakes, and big dinners. Susan was always smiling and laughing. Susan loved her kids, grandkids, friends, and family immensely. Susan was very generous and would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. Susan was a firm believer in Jesus Christ, she accepted Him as her Lord and Savior, and always had faith.

Survivors are three children; son Joseph Piccolella III of Stillwater, Oklahoma, son Brian Piccolella and his wife Gwen of Weatherford, Oklahoma, daughter Anna Piccolella and Brian Esker of Newalla, Oklahoma, grandkids Braiden, Layne, Noah, Isabella, Gabriel and Mason. Susan was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Ginger Chapman, sister Lisa Chapman, brother David Chapman, and daughter Valerie Crawford.

Services will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 7, 2022, at the First Assembly of God Church in Pawnee with Pastor Kirby Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Cemetery in Pawnee, Oklahoma. Poteet Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
