Frank Bejarano

Former Pawnee business man, Frank Bejarano, 77, passed away here Saturday, May 22, and services were held Monday morning May 24.

Known by many as "Mexican Frank", he opened and operated Frank's Cafe here for many years. Born Feb 22, 1894 in Camergo Chih, Mexico, he came to Pawnee at the age of 16 and has lived here since.

He is survived by a son Julius. He married Mae F. Drake on September of 1926 and she passed away on Nov. 16, 1948. Frank Bejarano was also survived by a sister and 4 brothers.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Jack Owens at the Poteet Funeral chapel at 10:30 Monday morning. Interment was in Highland cemetery under direction of the Poteet Funeral Home.
