Marvin Carl Alexander, Jr

Marvin Carl Alexander, Jr. was born September 12, 1933 to Marvin Carl Alexander, Sr. and Ore Lee Armstrong of Hallett, Oklahoma.

Marvin attended Hallett Schools and shortly after graduating from Hallett in 1951, Marvin married his first wife Willie Towell of Hominy, Oklahoma, together they had six children. Marvin later married Lavon Martin Howard on February 22, 1991 and gained four step- children, Mark, Michelle, Rhonda and Bryan.

Marvin worked for many years in the oilfield industry. Following working in the oil industry Marvin accepted a position with Ford Glass Company of Broken Arrow. He retired with thirty-three years of service as a production foreman.

Marvin was a very giving man and was willing to help people, he would have given the shirt off his back if someone needed it. He was also a very stern and tough. Marvin was baptized on May 23, 1999.

Marvin is survived by his wife Lavon of the home, two sons; Joe and Ted, eight grandchildren; Nate, Simon, Skyler, Jessi, Haylee, Dani, Tawni, and Michelle; two-step grandchildren; David and Haley Coon of Hominy. Marvin is preceded in death by, his mother, father, one son Dan and three other children lost a birth.

Services will be Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 2:00pm at Hallett First Baptist Church, Hallett, Oklahoma with Earl Wessell officiating.
