Mildred Irene Wade

Mildred Irene Wade passed away July 14 at her home in Pawhuska. She was 93 years old.
Mildred was born January 14, 1919, in Wright City, Oklahoma, the daughter of Lora Strother. On December 18, 1950, she married Earl Wade in Dequeen, Arkansas. He preceded her in death May 21, 1991. A devoted homemaker, Mildred was well-known as a great cook. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Surviving family includes her sons, James Wade and Bill Wade; her grandchildren, Billy Wade, Mark Cantrell, Earl Bryan Wade and Sarah Bean; her great grandchildren, Madeline Wade; and Katrina, Lizzy and Jessica Bean; along with other family and friends. Mildred was also preceded in death by her parents and a son, Wesley Cantrell.
Graveside services were held July 17, 10:00 a.m., in the Pawhuska City Cemetery. Martin Parks officiated.
McCartney's Johnson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
