Bonnie Louise Pierce passed away Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013 at her home in Pawhuska, Okla. She was 60 years old.

Bonnie was born Dec. 5, 1952 in Pawhuska, the daughter of Bunny Houston and Inze Christine (Howell) Collins. On July 5, 1978, she married John David Pierce in Pawhuska. He preceded her in death Oct. 31, 2006.

Bonnie worked as a cook at the Pawhuska Hospital for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing, gambling and playing hide-n-seek. She loved going to the ocean and loved her dogs. She loved life.

Surviving are her children John Paul Pierce, Tammy Sue Hamilton and Roy John Pierce; siblings Sandy Wadsworth, Billie Cole and Sherry Smith, Matt Collins, and Mary Jo Prince; nieces and nephews: Jessica Radford, Gwen Michelle Radford, Stephanie Dawn Radford, Casey Collins, Owen Collins, Summer Rae Radford, Elizabeth Prince and Russell Glen Thomas Prince; numerous great nieces and nephews, as well as a host of other family and friends.

Bonnie was also preceded in death by her parents; nephew Walter Franklin Radford; sister Caren Christine Radford; and grandparents Everett Thomas Collins and Myrtle Mae Collins.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, Feb. 14, 2 p.m., at the Pawhuska City Cemetery. Rev. Frank Mundy will officiate. Interment will follow.

McCartney's Johnson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
