Wilfred Ivan Milleson

Wilfred Ivan Milleson passed peacefully on July 21, 2023 at his home in Pawhuska, Oklahoma.

He was born in Cyclone, Missouri to loyal Dewitt Milleson and Lora Lee Clark Milleson on October 17, 1931. He was the 4th of 6 sons. His family moved to Pawhuska in 1941 where he attended the Pawhuska School System until his graduation in 1949.

In March 1951, he enlisted in the Army 35th Infantry Division and served during the Korean War until he was honorably discharged at the rank of Corporal in January 1953.

He married Charlotte Joy Johnson on November 28, 1958 at First Christian Church in Pawhuska. He worked in the oil field for almost 4 years. He and his brother, Clayton, owned The Pemco Oil Station until 1964. He worked for Woods-Miller Lumber Company. Later, he drove a truck for Arnco Trucking Company and retired in 1992. He enjoyed fishing, geneaology and spending time with his grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

He is survived by 4 children: son Rodger Loyal Milleson & spouse Karen Yount Milleson of Pawhuska; daughter Patricia Ann Milleson Baldridge & spouse John Baldridge of Shawnee OK; daughter Pamela Jo Milleson of Tulsa, OK; son Lance Reed Milleson & spouse Bren Edmondson Milleson of Tulsa, OK; and 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers Delbert, Donald, Clayton, James, and Gene, and 1 grandson Brice Wilfred Milleson.

Graveside services will be held on October 17, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Pawhuska Cemetery.
