Kathleen Elizabeth Stuart Martinovich, 82, passed away on December 28, 2014. She was born July 23, 1932 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Anne Henneberry Stuart and Robert S. Stuart. Kathleen spent her early years in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. She went to Monte Cassino in Tulsa and graduated from Pawhuska High School. She attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin graduating with a bachelor's degree in English and education. At Marquette, Kathleen met her husband Bob, and they were married on September 24, 1955 at Immaculate Conception Church in Pawhuska. They settled in Bartlesville, Oklahoma where she taught 4th grade for several years. She and her family also lived in Rancho Palos Verdes, California and Houston, Texas, before returning to Bartlesville in 1980.

Kathleen was active in her parishes participating in Parish Council, Altar Society, music ministry, and the hospitality committee. She became a member of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre, an organization founded to preserve the Christian presence in the Holy Lands.

She was also involved for many years in the Bartlesville Symphony Society. Kathleen loved playing the piano and singing, gardening, playing golf and bridge, going to museums, and attending family gatherings. She traveled with her husband and family to Alaska, Scotland, Ireland, England, former Yugoslavia, and the Caribbean. Most important of all to Kathleen was keeping in touch with and visiting family and friends across the country.

Kathleen is survived by her children Rob Martinovich and his wife Mary of Tulsa; Kay Martinovich of Chicago; Margaret Norstebon and her husband Bob of Keller, Texas; and Trish Pariseau and her husband Chad of Huntington Beach, California. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Tami Martinovich and her nine grandchildren Mike and Christine Martinovich; Andrew, Aaron, Alex, and Ashley Martinovich; Blake and Austin Pariseau; and Emma Norstebon. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bob, her daughter Anne Martinovich, her son Mark Martinovich and her sisters Joanne Bowman and Janet Dickey.

Funeral arrangements have been made with Stumpff Funeral Home in Bartlesville. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Church in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Pawhuska Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John Catholic School, 121 West 8th Street, Bartlesville, Oklahoma 74003 or Saint Simeon's Memory Center, 3701 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74106.
