Theodore Steven Brunt, III

Theodore Steven Brunt, III, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025, in the Cleveland Area Hospital, Cleveland, OK. He was 74 years old.

Ted was born October 6, 1950 in Pawhuska, the son of Theodore Brunt, Jr., and Betty Jean (Black) Brunt. A high school graduate, Ted worked as a drill hand in the oil fields around the area. A Veteran of the US Army, he loved music and going to concerts. He enjoyed playing golf. Ted was also a fan of the TU Golden Hurricane, OU Sooners and Tulsa Drillers. He enjoyed collecting guns and knives. The light of his life was his grandson, Theo.

Surviving is his son, Theodore Brunt, IV, and wife, Sabrina; grandson, Theodore, V (“Theo”); niece Sherri Berrong; great niece, Payton Berrong; great-great niece, Nyla Berrong; and cousins Kathleen Black, Judy Hazelbaker and David Black. Ted was preceded in death by his daughter, Airica D. Brunt, his parents, and his sister, Stephanie Brunt Mashunkashey.

Services will be held Thursday, April 3, 8:0AM, at the Wakon Iron Chapel, Pawhuska, OK. K.C. Bills will officiate. Interment will be in the Pawhuska City Cemetery.
