Linda Rey Brown, 76, passed away from this life Saturday evening, March 25, 2023, at her residence in Osage, Oklahoma.

Linda Brown (Kerr) was born September 12, 1946, in Emporia, Kansas to Raymond and Juanita Kerr. Linda was raised in a home with four girls and one boy. In Linda's younger years she lived in Hamilton, Kansas before moving to the Webb City / Shidler Oklahoma area. Linda liked to dance. As a fifteen year old girl she met Charles William Brown at a swing dance and it wasn't long till they got married, November 4, 1961 in Webb City, Oklahoma at her dad's place. Linda lived for her family. She went out of her way to take care of Charles. They had three children. Two boys and then a little girl.

Linda went back and got her GED, then went on to college at Rogers State to work on her Dietary Nutrition Certificate so she could oversee the kitchen in the nursing home she was working at. She finally went to work for Walmart where she retired after twenty-seven years.

Linda was very organized and turned that organizational skill into taking care of her husband and children. Linda went out of her way to make her family happy. From the best Christmas holidays to never forgetting a birthday, with a card celebrating the moment that showed up on the exact day. Linda is loved and will be greatly missed.
