Pauline Gerela Weaver

Pauline Weaver, 87, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was called to her eternal resting place on January 7, 2023. She entered this world on September 28, 1935, in Powell River, British Columbia, born to William and Olga Gerela.

She married Bill Weaver in 1957 and the two of them moved to the United States and had three boys, Robert, Bill, and Mike. They lived in Pampa, Texas, Wichita, Kansas, and Newkirk, Oklahoma before making Shidler their permanent residence in the mid-60s.

Pauline loved spending time with her family including her 11 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking and was a member of the Webb City Church of God in Webb City, Oklahoma.

Those left behind to cherish Pauline's memory are her sons: Robert and wife Twila Weaver of Canadian, TX, Bill, and wife Rebecca Weaver of Webb City, OK, and Mike and wife Holly Weaver of Webb City, OK. Her grandchildren: Lacey Hendrix, Alicia Weaver, Dylan Weaver, Taylor Weaver, Wade Weaver, Jason Weaver, Shannon Weaver, William Weaver, Monica Thomas, Mike Weaver, Mitchell Weaver, and Gary Denney and her 28 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers: Metro Gerela, Danny Gerela, and Roy Gerela, as well as one sister, Diane Mann. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents William and Olga, husband Bill, daughter Cynthia Pauline Weaver, brothers Mike Gerela, Teddy Gerela, and Nick Gerela, sisters Edith Orr and Stephanie O'Brien, and one grandson Luke Weaver.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 13, 2022, 2 p.m. at Foraker Cemetery in Foraker, Oklahoma with Pastor Jackie Vogele and Pastor Phil Kizer officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Online condolences may be made at www.gracememorialchapel.net.
