Landry Joseph Shaw was born on August 29, 2025, at St. Francis Children's Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Burgess and Whitney (Thomas) Shaw. From the moment he arrived, Landry filled the hearts of his family with immense joy, love, and peace.
Though born early, Landry showed remarkable strength, fighting courageously in his little body. Every day with him was a precious gift, treasured deeply by all who surrounded him with love. On September 4, 2025, with his family by his side, Landry's fight came to an end, and he was gently carried into eternal rest.
Landry is survived by his loving parents, Burgess and Whitney Shaw; his big brother, Garrett Shaw, who adored him; his grandparents, Janet Thomas, and John and Pam Shaw; his great-grandparents, Darrell (Debbie) Merriman,Sue Simms and Beth Shaw; his aunts, Tiffany (Austin) Birkhead and Zoey Thomas; his uncles, Derek (Melyssa) Shaw, Kirk (Eden) Shaw, and Joe Thomas; along with many other family members and friends who will forever carry him in their hearts.
He is preceded in death by Rick Thomas and Jerry Shaw.
Funeral services for Landry will be held at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, September 8, 2025, at Grayhorse Chapel in Grayhorse, Oklahoma, followed by a church service at 9:30 a.m. at Angus Church, 4401 S. 129th W Ave, Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Burial will take place at Fairfax Cemetery in Fairfax, Oklahoma, followed by a traditional Osage dinner at the Grayhorse Community Building.
Though his time on earth was brief, Landry’s impact is everlasting. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
