Lillie May Polly Sharp, resident of Ponca City, passed away Friday, September 9, 2011 at her home in the Osage. She was 76 years of age.

Lillie was born May 17, 1935 at Blue Mountain, Arkansas, the daughter of Grover C. Bonner and Allie Terry Bonner. She received her early education in the Blue Mountain and Fairfax, Oklahoma Schools.

She was married to Andrew Veston Sharp Sr. on March 2, 1950 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. The couple made their first home in the Big Bend area west of Ralston, Oklahoma. The couple had lived in Midland, Texas, Amarillo, Texas and Burbank, Oklahoma before moving to her present home in Ponca City in 1989. She was a longtime homemaker and had also worked some 20 years as a housekeeper. Polly was a longtime member of the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church and her present church was the Newkirk Assembly of God Church. Her enjoyments were quilting, sewing and crafts.

She is survived by her three children, Brenda May Parker and husband, Johnny, of Blackwell, Oklahoma, Andrew Veston Andy Sharp Jr. and wife, Phyllis, of Stroud, Oklahoma, and Ruth Renee Casebolt and husband, Kelly, of Yale, Oklahoma one brother, Carl Bonner 11 grandchildren, Hunter Parker, Joy Sharp, Matt Casebolt, Heston Parker, Shane Sharp, Matt Soderstron, Clayton Casebolt, Baylea Soderstron, Colton Sharp, Ty Bryant and Dally Bryant 13 great grandchildren, Alyssa Parker, Madelyn Parker, Allie Parker, Molly Parker, Jade Radford, Candace Radford, Breanna Radford, Brittany Sharp, Breanna Murff, Clayton Murff, Ryleigh Sharp, Gage Sharp and Mattix Casebolt one great great grandson, Mason Wallace numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents her husband 4 brothers, Henry Bonner, Cotton Bonner, Lester Bonner and Charles Bonner 4 nephews and 1 niece.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at the Newkirk Assembly of God Church with Pastor Charles Hudspeth presiding, assisted by Johnny Parker. Interment will follow in the Fairfax, Oklahoma Cemetery under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.
