Foy L. Willaford Murray, longtime resident of Ponca City, passed Saturday, May 30, 2015 in Ponca City. She was 80 years of age.

Foy was born February 25, 1935 in Fairfax, Oklahoma, the daughter of Calin Cruth Elsberry and Maiden Arminta (Armstrong) Elsberry. She was a 1954 graduate of Fairfax High School. She was married to John C. Willaford on September 22, 1962 in Miami, Oklahoma. Mr. Willaford passed on February 22, 1992. She later married Dwight Murray who also preceded her in death.

Foy was a longtime employee with Conoco in Ponca City, working in the Human Resources Department. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ponca City. Her enjoyments were her family, spending time with her brothers and sisters, R.V. traveling, riding motorcycles, reading, cooking and baking. She had also traveled abroad to Germany and Holland.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Dawn Willaford of Ponca City; two brothers, John Elsberry and wife Delona, of Moore, Oklahoma and Jim Elsberry and wife Linda, of Tulsa; two sisters, Lucille York of Oklahoma City and Anna Faye Sharp and husband Gwinn, of Dayville, Oregon; four grandchildren, Bill Willaford and wife Breia, of Ponca City, Jamie McGuire and wife Rosie of Colorado, Misty Rodriguez and husband Ysidor, of Phoenix, Arizona and Jordan Parker of Ponca City; five great grandchildren Haylee, Madison, Roman, Maksim and Elias; other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands; one son, Garth Ray Willaford; four brothers, Wendell Elsberry, Huey Elsberry, Alfred Elsberry and R.G. Elsberry.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Mike Smith presiding. Interment will follow in the Fairfax Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.
