Donna Belle (Smith) Mobbley passed away on Saturday, October 8. 2016 at Shawn Manor Nursing Home in Ponca City. She was 80 years old. Donna was born on October 10, 1935 in Fairfax, Oklahoma to Raymond Nathan Smith and Rosie Beryl (Trent) Smith. She grew up in Fairfax and attended Fairfax High School. On October 15, 1954 she married Walter E. Mobbley in Fairfax, Oklahoma.

Donna was a housewife and enjoyed taking care of babies as a daycare worker. In the 1970s, she was a crossing guard… for Washington Elementary School in Ponca City. Donna also worked in the beauty shop at Shawn Manor as well as volunteered at the nursing home. Faith was important to Donna as she attended Faith Tabernacle Church. She is survived by her nieces, Mary Wedin and husband, Carolyn Haynes and husband, nephews, Sammy Soutter and family, Kenny Soutter and family, David Soutter, Jr. and family, Timothy Smith, Tony Smith and Terry Smith, sister-in-law, Patsy Martinez, sister-in-law, Helen Mobbley, and brother-in-law Bill Mobbley.

She is preceded in death by her sister Eva Marie (Smith) Soutter, her brother Willard Ray Smith, nephew Fredrick Soutter and her parents. Donna will be available for viewing on Monday, October 10, 2016 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Trout Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Trout Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Fairfax Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Ed Haynes, Jason Stuart, James Kuchynka, Jason Smith, Kenny Soutter, Sammy Soutter, and Terry Smith.

Donna's family would like to recognize the nurses and staff at Shawn Manor and Hospice of North Central Oklahoma for taking such good care of Donna especially during the end of her life.
