Vicki spent her childhood years growing up in Germany before returning to Terre Haute, Indiana with her parents at age 14. She earned a B.S. in Education and a M.S. in Library Science from Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN, and began her teaching career in Plainfield, IN. She soon moved to Enid, OK, and then to Bartlesville, OK in 1975. She was employed by the Bartlesville School System as the Head Librarian at College High in Bartlesville, OK for over 20 years. Vicki married David R. Koble on July 11, 1986, making their home in Bartlesville. She quit teaching in the late 1990's in order to spend more time with her husband and the dogs she loved, and to be free to travel with David on his business trips around the U.S.

Vicki loved to travel during her Christmas and summer breaks, visiting many of the places she remembered as a child such as France, England, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Austria, Spain, and Switzerland. After her marriage she and David expanded the list to include Japan, China, Hong Kong, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, New Zealand, Australia, Monaco, Tasmania, and Canada. Vicki also enjoyed playing in bridge tournaments with her husband. In her last three years she had made substantial progress towards her goal of becoming a life master.

Arrangements are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home and Crematory of Bartlesville. Visitation is from 8 A.M. to 6 P.M. on Wednesday and Thursday. On Thursday the family will be there from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. for visitation and to remember her.
