Edna "Katie" Carolyn Crenshaw Humphrey

November 19, 1955 ~ January 31, 2023

Katie was born Nov. 19th 1955 in Booneville, Arkansas to John and Verda Crenshaw and passed away at her home in Shidler, Oklahoma January 31st 2023.

Katie lived her life for her husband Wayne, her three children Clark (Boe), Kim and Joy; her 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Katie worked as a nutrition specialist for several years at various nursing homes. Katie was sober for 29 years and went on to work at Jordan's Crossing ( a sober living house ) where she enjoyed helping other women achieve sobriety before moving to Shidler, OK to live out her life with her high school sweetheart / husband Wayne.

Katie loved garage sales and thrift stores anywhere she could get a bargain. Katie loved spending time with her family, the highlight of her year was the Wilson - Crenshaw family reunion.

Katie is proceeded in death by her Father John Crenshaw; Mother Verda Crenshaw; brothers Floyd and Alton; twin sisters Joyce and Lois; son Clark Kent Jr. (Boe) and great granddaughter Madalynn Beebe.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Wayne; daughters Kim Beebe and Joy Kent; her siblings Sam Crenshaw, Darlene White, Wilma Crenshaw, John D. Crenshaw, Denny Crenshaw, Doyle Crenshaw, and Doris Doyal.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Monday, February 6, 2023 at the Full Gospel Assembly in Fairfax with Pastor Lewis Bernard officiating, assisted by Michael Buettner and Bob White. Burial will follow in the Fairfax City Cemetery under the care of Hunsaker Wooten Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include Mac Beebe, Levi Beebe, Cliff Schumacher, Zackery Patterson, Zain Kent, and Christopher Humphrey. Honorary Pallbearers are Tavin Schumacher, Eli Schumacher, Doyle Crenshaw, Denny Crenshaw, John D. Crenshaw, Sam Crenshaw and Bob White.
