Sarah Ann Fish

Sarah Ann Fish passed away December 31, 2022, a day after her 48th birthday. Sarah was born to Butch and Kari "Tincy" Irons Fish on December 30, 1974 at Pawhuska Hospital. At a young age, she and her parents moved to the Tulsa area when she grew up but spent many holidays and summers in Fairfax. She was classified as a daycare child where she attended many facilities. She started Kindergarten at Tulsa Mayo then Catoosa Public Schools until her sophomore year where the family moved to Skiatook in which she graduated in May 1993. Sarah participated in many sports starting at a young age where her love turned to soccer. She was an awesome defender for both indoor and outdoor teams. Her 13/14 independent age team won state title where she took corner kicks, offside kicks, and goalie kicks with her "Thunderfoot" as she was called.

As a senior at Skiatook, she was the first single state tennis qualifier in 1993. She worked many call center jobs in the Tulsa area until her health failed her. Sarah was an enrolled member of the Osage Nation and a descendant of the Sac and Fox Tribe of Oklahoma.

She is survived by her pride and joy Tre Girard Fish. Her best friend Jay Thompson that took great care of her. Her mother Tincy. Aunts and uncles Chris Roan (Michael and Cecelia), Sylvia Butler (Laura, Lisa, and Leann), Barry Irons (Christy & Shawn), Irma Maye (John & Shannon), Joe Cheshewalla.

She was preceded in death by her son Gene Fish (stillborn), dad, paternal grandmother Mary Blackbird Fish, great grandfather Girard John Blackbird, aunts Kit & Lisa Fish, Cecilia Heath, maternal grandparents Belford Irons and Imogene Jefferson Irons, great-grandfather Omer Jefferson Sr., uncle Jeff Irons, Hooper and Aunt Bigon and many numerous cousins she loved as brothers and sisters.
