Hominy – Mrs. Anna May Holt, 71, who had lived in Enid the past two years, died Saturday in an Enid hospital.

She was the mother of Mrs. Gary Gene (Patricia Ann) Smith of 2019 W. Cherokee.

Funeral services were at 1 PM today in the Powell Funeral Home in Hominy, with the Rev. Jesse Dittmar officiating. She was buried in the Albert J. Powell Memorial Cemetery at Hominy.

Mrs. Holt was born July 9, 1909, at Adair and moved to Hominy as a small girl. She attended high school there and was a member of the Methodist Church. She had worked in bakeries and cleaning establishments until retiring.

In addition to her daughter, she is survived by a sister, Mrs. Laura Lines of Hominy; a grandson; three great – grandchildren and two nephews, whom she raised, Rudolph Rogers of Hominy and Jack Rogers, Tulsa.
