Gertrude Avelene Sparks a resident of Henryetta passed away on June 14, 2007 in Henryetta, Ok at the age of 81. Born October 3, 1925 in Dewar, Ok to Harrison and Emma Mae (Guinn) Eslick. She was a member of the Dewar United Pentecostal Church. Gertrude was a homemaker and worked at Kentucky Fried Chicken as a hostess.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters; Ruth Hudson, Bertha Gower and Gladys Piatt. Also 2 Brothers: Clarence “Babe” Eslick and George Eslick.
Survived by,Daughter: Trellis Massey of Oklahoma City,OK,Granddaughter: Dana Osborn of Oklahoma City,Grandson: Cameron Brewer of Oklahoma City Great Grandsons: Jayson Osborn of Henryetta,Joey Ellidge of Oklahoma City,2 Brothers: Clifford Eslick of Mt Pleasant,MO,Lee Eslick of Pampa, TX.
Services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at the Dewar United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Matthew Martin officiating. Interment will follow at the Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
