Deborah Gay (Brown) (Sisson) Smith, passed away on January 12, 2008, near Drumright, OK at the age of 56 years.

The daughter of Thomas Henry Brown, Jr. and Dorothy Ollie (Hess) Brown, Debbie was born on February 27, 1951 in Honolulu, Hawaii.

She grew up in the Glendale area and attended school in Wister.

Debbie was united in marriage to Larry Keith Smith on January 12, 1980 and the couple made their home in Cushing.

She had been a member of the Cushing Country Club; Member of Elks Lodge, and assisted her husband with events with the Shriner’s at the lake cabin.

She and her husband Larry owned and operated Oilwell Cementers.

She is survived by her husband Larry of the home; one son, Paul Sisson and his wife Amy of Dallas, TX; one brother, Monte T. Brown and his wife Valorie of Summerfield, OK; step-daughters, Jennifer Smith of Ardmore, OK, Cynthia Edwards and her husband Timothy of Oklahoma City, Dana Ross and her fiancé Andrew Hartington of Oklahoma City, Judi Twiggs and her husband David of Midwest City; grandchildren, Gizelle Sisson, Miranda Sisson, Jordan Sisson, Natalie Trivinio, and Samantha Trivinio; step-grandchildren, Anthony Edwards, Nathan Edwards, Alahna Ross, Haley Luman, Laney, Dylan, and Kyra Twiggs.

Debbie was preceded in death by one brother Ken Brown, Mother Dorothy (Brown) Davis and her Father Thomas H. Brown Jr.

Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Funeral services have been entrusted to the Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing and will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 21, 2008 in the First United Methodist Church in Cushing.

Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. on Monday in the West Lawn Cemetery, Henryetta, OK.
