Uleda Thomas, a resident of Schulter was born December 21, 1929 in Wilburton, Oklahoma to Nelle and William Bryant. She passed away Saturday, January 26, 2008 in Henryetta, Oklahoma at the age of 78 years 1 month and 5 days.

Uleda was married to George Thomas in Henryetta, Oklahoma on February 14, 1981. She owned and operated the Wander-In Café for 8 years.

She was a member of Schulter Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, sister, Eleanor Snider, one brother-in-law, Prenitss Snider, a granddaughter, Sara Ciambella.

She is survived by her husband, George Thomas, of the home; daughter, Mary Smith & husband James, Schulter; son, Buddy Ciambella & wife Susan, Pleasant Valley; daughter, Nancy Ciambella, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; son, Dale Ciambella & wife Sallie, Norman; 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, 2 nieces, Karen & Darryl Rhoads, Schulter; and Billye & Jimmy Reich, Broken Arrow.

Honorary Pallbearers, John Ralph, Billy McCullough, Alvin Yancy, Merle Dickey, Gene Snider, Dwight Snider, Jeff Shepherd, Bobby Garrett, Corey Johnson, Jimmy Reich, Pallbearers will be: Anthony Ciambella, Danny Joe Shepherd, Jason Harris, Jonathan Seiber, Darryl Rhoads, Daniel Ciambella and Lee Bryant.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Schulter Baptist Church officiated by Rev. George Christy.

Burial will be at Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of Shurden Funeral Home.
