Kevin Allen Davis, a resident of Bartlesville, and Supervisor of Operating Excellence, Engineer, for the Bartlesville Control Center with Phillips 66 Pipeline, passed away in his home at 11:40 a.m., September 23, 2013, at the age of 44 years. Kevin fought a long, hard battle with cancer, but continued to be an inspiration to the very end.
Kevin was born on March 26, 1969 in Columbus, Ohio to Betty and Thomas Davis, who have both preceded him in death. Kevin moved to Oklahoma in 1981, and graduated from Morris High School with the Class of 1988. After college, Kevin began his 22-year career with Conoco Pipeline in Glenpool, Oklahoma, moved to Colorado with ConocoPhillips, and returned to Bartlesville, Oklahoma where he retired with Phillips 66 on September 1, 2013. Kevin also served 13 years in the U.S. Army Reserves. His father-in-law often summed Kevin up in one statement, "Kevin is an asset wherever he is." He definitely was a man with a plan, and had the ability to see it through. Kevin will long be remembered for his wit and humor. He laughed and the world laughed with him. Kevin was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bartlesville.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Deidra, and their two daughters, Devin and KayDee of the home. Also, two brothers, John Davis of Colorado, and Duane Davis, Okmulgee.
