Virginia (Wright) Boerstler

BOERSTLER Virginia, was born on July 22, 1913 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma and departed this life on Monday, June 15, 1998, at her home in Bristow, Oklahoma, at the age of 84 years. Virginia was the daughter of Randolph Earle and Charlotte (Marshall) Wright. She had been a resident of Bristow since 1946 when she moved from Okmulgee.

Virginia graduated from Okmulgee High School and attended Wm. Woods College.

She married Bill Boerstler in Okmulgee on June 20, 1936. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Okmulgee Church of The Redeemer Episcopal Church until 1949 when she joined the Bristow Presbyterian Church.,

She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother. Survivors include her husband, Bill Boerstler of the home in Bristow; 1 daughter & son-in-law, Barbara & Jack Snoddy, Bethany; 2 brothers, Earle Wright, Houston, TX, Marshall Wright, Arlington, TX; 2 grandchildren, Ted & Jennifer Snoddy, Bethany.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 18, 1998 at 11:00 A.M. at the Okmulgee Cemetery, Okmulgee. A memorial service will also be held at 2:00 P.M. at the Bristow Presbyterian Church, Bristow, with Dr. Jeff Francis officiating. The body will lie in state at Hutchins Maple Funeral Home in Bristow through Wednesday evening.

Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.
