Jerry Reed a Henryetta resident passed away on September 17, 2006 in Henryetta at the age of 70. Born January 14, 1936 in Oklahoma City,Ok to Guy and Nell (Lowe) Reed. Jerry worked as a truck driver and was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Marine Corp.

Jerry married Faye Hedrick on June 6, 1978 in LasVegas,NV. Jerry was a member of the Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Jerry Weaver.

Survived by: Wife: Faye Reed of the home,Sons: Max Randall Reed of Tulsa,Ricky King of Henryetta,Daughters: Debra Reed of Tulsa,Jerry Fraser of Tulsa, Angie Rempe of Henryetta,Xan Robertson of Henryetta,12 Grandchildren,8 Great Grandchildren,Brothers: Herb Reed of Owasso, OK, Larry Reed of Sand Springs,OK, Sisters: Patricia Randolph of Ponca City,Ok,Judith Kennedy of Tulsa,Aunt: Jeddi Shewmake of Texas, Many nieces and nephews.

Military Honors will be provided by the United States Marine Corp.

Service will be 10:00am, Thursday September 21, 2006 at the Rogers Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be 1:00pm at the Ft. Gibson National Cemetery in Ft Gibson, Ok under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
