Wayne Freeman Keith a resident of Yukon, Ok passed away on December 1, 2006 in Oklahoma City, Ok at the age of 73. Born October 31, 1933 in Henryetta, Ok to William Freeman and Dovie Pearl (Turpin) Keith.

He had a successful career in primary insurance, reinsurance, excess and surplus line underwriting, management and broking. He graduated from Henryetta High School in 1951. Served in the US Army from 1955-1963 with many honors and overseas duty. Attended OSU and a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He retired in 1999 from Midlands Management Corp a member of CPCU, Lloyds of London. His interest and hobbies included Golf and Woodworking and of course an avid fan of all OSU sports. For the past two years he has been the editor of the Hens Newsletter.

He married Marjorie Lee-Ann on June 10, 1963 in Miami, Missouri. He was a great dad and a wonderful husband and the best grandfather. He loved life and lived each day like it was his last. My Dad was my Hero, He was my Superman.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years: Marjorie Lee-Ann Keith of the home,Daughter: Heather Renee Keith of Oklahoma City,Son: Brad Ryan Keith of Plano, TX Grandson: Aubrey Wayne Keith of Oklahoma City,4Sisters: Mildred McElhannon of Henryetta,Mabel Reed of Houston, TX,Billy Looney of Carlsbad, NM June Cunningham of Henryetta.

Services will be 10:00am, Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at the Henryetta First Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Paslay, officiating. Interment will be 2:30 at the Chapel Hill Cemetery in Oklahoma City, Ok under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
