Leo "Budda" Hicks III a resident of Okmulgee passed away on March 25, 2005 in Tulsa at the age of 17. Budda was born March 8, 1988 in Okmulgee, Ok to Leo and Sharon (Eslick) Hicks Jr. He was a student attending the Dewar High School where he was the Junior Class President, Member of the Baseball and Football team and kept the stats at the Dewar Basketball games. He also was captain of the Creek Challenge Bowl Team, SFCCLA and a member of the Dewar First Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents Leo and Liza Hicks, Maternal Grandmother; Shirley Eslick and Paternal Great Grandfather Edmond Hicks.

Survived By:Parents: Leo and Sharon Hicks of the home,Brothers: Brian and Matthew Hicks of the home, Sister: Leslie Hicks of the home,Maternal Grandfather: Jessie Eslick of Henryetta,5 Aunts, 2 Uncles and many Friends.

Wake service Monday Night at March 28, 2005 7:00pm at the Dewar First Baptist Church, Dewar.Ok.

Services 2:00p.m, Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at the Dewar Fist Baptist Church. Interment will be at the New Senora Cemetery under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home. Pallbearers: Chris Jackson, Dean Blood, Jace Smith, Darryl Procter, Robert Satterfield, Kevin Soap. Honorary; Sam Beaver, Leroy Soap, Brian Tarpalechee and Chris Sneed.
