James “Judge” Harris a resident of the Tiger Mountain Community passed away on May 18, 2006 in Tulsa,Ok at the age of 80. Born April 10, 1925 in Russelville, Arkansas to James Fletcher and Rose Lee (Taylor) Harris. Judge was a member of the Silver Springs Baptist Church and was a cattleman. He married Katherine Walden on November 11, 1944 in Dexter, Mo.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife; Katherine 2 Brothers Mack and Sonny Harris and 2 sisters Ruby Harper and Nancy Skyles.

Survived By his children:James DeWayne Harris of Checotah,Faye and John Wandell of Big Cabin,OK,Mary and Darren Dotson of Tiger Mountain,Donald Harris of Tiger Mountain,Tressia and David Thomas of Dewar,OK,Jannette Hanson of Henryetta,Honorary Daughter: Gaye and Terry Moss Martin of Henryetta,Many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren,Sisters: Lucille Watkins of Bixiby,OK,Mildred Britton of Henryetta,Juanita and Henry Young of Haskell,Anna Lee Davis of Spiro, Madline Ottis Brown of Bixby.

Services will be 2:00pm Monday May 22, 2006 at the Silver Springs Baptist Church with Rev. A.J. Tiger officiating. Interment will follow at the New Senora Cemetery under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Griffin Goodnight, Donald Harris Jr, John Dale Wendell, Lance Hansen, David Thomas and Brian Thomas. Honorary pallbearers are Kevin Evans, John Martin, Rocky Baker, Sonny Been and Butch Norman.
