Emmert Edward Griffin Jr a resident of Okmulgee,OK passed away on June 20, 2007 in Okmulgee at the age of 62. Born October 5, 1944 in Jerseyville, Illinois to Emmert and Mary (Newman) Griffin. He worked as a welder and attended the Baptist Church.

Emmert married Blanche Weicenbac on June 11, 1963.

Survived by Wife Blanche Griffin of the home,3 Sons: Charles Griffin of Okmulgee,Emmert Griffin of Okmulgee,John Griffin of Okmulgee,Daughter: Vicky Reeves of Tempe, AZ 9 Grandchildren,9 Great Grandchildren,4 Brothers; Leroy Friend of Tempe,AZ,John Friend of Tempe,AZ,Gene Friend of Washington,Greg Friend of Washington 2 Sisters: Judy Hall of Godfrey, IL,Vicky Cahill of Clarkston,WA,2 Step Brothers and Two Step Sisters.

Services will be 2:00pm, Saturday June 23, 2007 at the Rogers Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Salt Creek Cemetery under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
