Jeanie Marie Starr, a resident of Okmulgee was born August 15, 1950 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to Jeanie Mae (Kelly) and Joshua Starr.

She passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2008 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 57 years 5 months and 21 days.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, Jeanie Mae & Joshua Starr, two sisters, Karen Starr, and Betty Scott.

She is survived by her son, Charles Kelly, Henryetta; daughter, Shannon Kelly, of the home; son, Chris Kelly & wife Jennifer, Okmulgee; son, Solomon Morgan, Glenpool, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Paul Kelly, Jennifer Kelly, Kari Harjo, Mark Harjo, Chris Hill, Janessa Kelley, and Joseph Kelley, one great grandchild, Michael Smith & one on the way, sister, Helen Butler, Wilson; brother, Dave Butler, Wilson;sisters, Darlene Starr, Okmulgee; and Rhonda Starr, Bartlesville; and a host of other relatives & friends.

Pallbearers will be Adam Starr, Paul Kelly, Bobby Harjo, Erick Harjo, Marcus Harjo, Josh Burgess, Honorary Pallbearers will be, Stanley Harjo, Mark Harjo, J. R. Mitchell, Jesse Felix, and Louis Felix.

Wake services will be held on Thursday, Evening at 7 p.m. at the Tallahassee Methodist Church in Okmulgee.

Services will be held Friday, February 8, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Tallahassee Methodist Church in Okmulgee. Burial will be at New Sonora Cemetery Henryetta under the direction of Shurden Funeral Home.
