Terry Edward Wright was born October 27, 1941 in Borger, Texas the son of Wilbur Edward and Harriet Melissa (Beard) Wright. He passed from this life on Saturday, June 14, 2025 in Tulsa at the age of 83 years, 7 months and 18 days.

Terry graduated from Borger High School and later attended OSU Tech in Okmulgee where he studied small engine repair. He retired from the City of Tulsa water department where he worked many years. He was of the Pentecostal faith and a former member of a cycling club and photography club. Terry took joy in playing the harmonica.

Terry was preceded in death by both of his parents and his wife, Fern Irene (Gumpher) Wright.

His survivors include his daughters, Renee Boyce and husband, Johnny of Preston, Shawna Garrison and husband, Richard of Owasso, Laura McCombs and husband, Lance of Preston and Lynn Severs and fiancé, Gary Nolen of Tulsa; grandchildren, Brandan Welsh and wife, Kimberly of Sand Springs, Cody Ballard and wife, Lorena of Preston, Ashlyn Ballard of Collinsville, Brooklyn Boyce of Preston, William Welsh of Owasso, Audrey Stanford and husband, Clyde of Sapulpa, Ashton Beesley and husband, Loren of Sand Springs, Garick McCombs and wife, Kaitlynn of Mounds, Taylor O’Mara and husband, Johnny of Okmulgee, Tyler Eng and wife, Lindsay of Sand Springs and Christian Nolen of Tulsa; and 16 great grandchildren.
