Lucy Mae Langford

January 24, 1926 - December 7, 2018

Lucy Mae Langford received her heavenly calling on Friday, December 7th, 2018. She was 92 years old and passed at her home of more than 60 years, with her daughters at her side. She was born on January 24th, 1926 to her parents, Wylie Fate Bradford and Alta Mae Whitworth Bradford outside of Whitesboro, Texas. She married the love of her life, Gilbert Lee Lanford, Sr., on January 6th, 1945. They shared over 50 years of marriage before his passing on May 24th, 1996.
Her life's work was being a good wife, wonderful mother and dedicated homemaker who loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Lucy was known for her loving and nurturing spirit. She always showed deep concern for all her family members and friends. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gilbert Lee Langford, Sr., son Gilbert Langford, Jr. and wife Karen Darlene Langford; brothers, Joe L. Bradford, Dewey Bradford, and Jack Bradford; and sisters, Neida Bradford, Bonnie Miller, Louise Stansbury, and Dorothy Westmoreland. She leaves behind her loving sister Helen Moon; daughter, Karen Gentry and son, Michael; daughter, Janice and husband Roy Autry and their children Kristy and Kathy and husband Mike; daughter, Regina Hammer and her children Jordan and Cortney; loving granddaughter, Lori Langford; and great-grandchildren, Blake, Bradley, Braylin, Shawn, Sophia, and Journey.
Visitation will be 9am-8pm Monday, December 10, 2018 with family present from 5pm-7pm. Funeral services will be 10am Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Sunnylane Family Church in Del City with interment to follow at Sunnylane Cemetery.
