Donnell Cemetery is located 0.1 mile west of the intersection of NE 234th {Sorghum Mill Rd.} and N. Anderson Rd. northeast of Arcadia, Oklahoma. From Oklahoma City, take I-35 north to State Highway 66 {exit 141} and go right {east} for about 6.0 miles to N. Anderson Rd. Turn left {north} and go 3 miles to NE 234th {Sorghum Mill Rd.} The cemetery is located 0.1 mile west of this intersection, on the top of a hill, near a wooded area on private property.

James Donnell made the land run of 1889. James and his wife, Frances deeded one acre of land to the Trustees of Soldier Creek Cemetery, for the sum of $1.00. The deed was filed for record January 17, 1900 in Book 22, page 239. The earliest burial was Evaline Cleek in 1896. {Information obtained from OK County Cemetery Index - compiled by OK County HCE Genealogy Group, page 29.}

If you have family buried in this cemetery and would like to add their information, an obit, tombstone photo, funeral home record or memorial card to this website, please send area coordinator an e-mail.
