Mary Netta Gordon was born 9/28/28 in Sayre, OK to Joe and Fannie (Turner) Barron. She grew up around Binger, OK and graduated from Binger HS in 1947. On January 3, 1948, she married Alva Gordon in Anadarko, OK. To their union were born 3 children: Larry, Randy and Jean Ann. Mary loved to laugh and made a happy home for her family. She was a lifelong member of the Baptist church where she served her Lord faithfully. She loved to show you how much she loved you by cooking something special just for you. She was predeceased by her husband, Alva Gordon; son, Larry; daughter-in-law, Jane Gordon; parents, Joe and Fannie Barron; brother, Don Barron; and sister, Marie Seher. She is survived by her son, Randy Gordon and his children, Joey and Mattie Gordon; daughter, Jean Ann Franklin and husband Mike; grandson, Joshua Gordon-Hopps; two brothers, Wayne Barron and wife Audrey, Hemet, CA, Bob Barron and wife Dorothy, Shawnee, OK; and several nieces and nephews which she loved dearly. Graveside services will be Friday, Nov. 2, 12:30pm in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. A memorial service will follow at 2:00pm at First Baptist Church of Bethany.
