Melba Langston
Oct. 19, 1921 - May 1, 2006
Melba Langston went to be with the Lord on May 1, 2006.
She was born in Bearden, Oklahoma on October 19, 1921 and came to Bakersfield in 1940 with her husband, G. W. Langston. She was a homemaker and devout Christian for most of her life. And was married to G. W. for 66 years.
She is survived by her children, Bill and Carolyn Langston, Linda and Gerald Adams; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Services will be held on Monday, May 8, 2006, at 1:00 p.m., at Hillcrest Memorial Park on Kern Canyon Rd. Interment will follow at Hillcrest.
