Dorothy "Dot" Zibkowski

September 08, 1941 ~ January 31, 2019

Dorothy "Dot" Zibkowski, age 77 years, of Enid, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019, in Enid. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Dot was born September 8, 1941, in Gardner, Massachusetts, to Albert and Viola (Kirby) Vadney. She attended Gardner High School, graduating with the class 1959. She married Edward John Zibkowski, Jr., in May 1960. They had one daughter, Joanne Marie Zibkowski.

Dot was a "Bay Stater," a true Massachusettsan through and through. She was bold and feisty and even had her accent after twenty years in Oklahoma.

Dot was a giver; she loved giving to her friends and family, especially to her grandchildren. She moved from her childhood home to Enid in order to be near her family but never lost her love for Massachusetts. Go Patriots!

She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Viola Vadney. She is survived by her husband Edward Zibkowski, of the home in Enid; daughter Joanne Zelenski and husband Warren, of Enid; three granddaughters, Christine Hicks and husband Grant, of Glasgow, Montana, Catherine Zelenski, of Tulsa, OK, Colleen Zelenski of Enid; and a great-grandson, Garrett Hicks.

Condolences may be made at www.ladusauevans.com.
