Steven Lee Zachary of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died early Monday morning, November 22, 2010, at his home in Blackwell at the age of 47 years.

Steven Lee Zachary was born on July 24, 1963, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, to Raymond Eugene "Zac" and Sarah Jane (Kramm) Zachary. He grew up in Blackwell attending Blackwell Public Schools. Following his education he worked for the Acme Foundry and later as a machine operator for the Electron Corporation. He married Kimberly Lynn Criner on November 23, 1988, in Nardin, Oklahoma, and they settled in Blackwell. Following the close of Electron he began working for the Asbury Machine Shop in Tonkawa, Oklahoma. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and other various outdoor sports.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Zachary of Blackwell, Oklahoma; a daughter, Amber Nicole Zachary of Blackwell, Oklahoma; a son, Steven Wayne Zachary of Blackwell, Oklahoma; a sister, Serena Shirley; and three brothers, Paul Vance, David Vance and Bobby Zachary.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Natalie Vance.

A memorial service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Friday, November 26th in the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Blackwell with Mark Carson officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation in c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 120 W. Padon, Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631.
