Matthew Neal Young

Matthew Neal Young
August 21, 2002 ~ April 28, 2023

Our spunky little cowboy, Matthew Neal Young, tragically left us on April 28th, 2023, at 20 years young in San Antonio, TX. He was born on August 21st, 2002, in Enid, OK. Matthew was the life of the party, his goofy smile and radiant green eyes lit up every room he was in. He was the first person at your door when you needed a helping hand, whether he knew you or not. Matthew loved all things country, playing golf, working on his truck and fishing. He enjoyed catching all the Star Wars movies and having Sushi with his Uncle Mike. He was passionate about music, whether listening to it or playing his guitars. He loved 80’s rock and roll and old school country. Anyone who crossed paths with Matthew loved him like their own and he will be missed by all.

Matthew is survived by his loving parents, Chris and Philisha Young; sister, Mersades Isais and her husband Carlos; brother, Christopher Young and his wife Victoria; nephews, Bruce and Cooper Isais; grandmother, Kathy Young; grandfather, Mike Young and his wife Sally; uncle, Chad Young and wife Amber; uncle, Mike Schroeder; Aunt Terri Lynch and husband Brent; Uncle Randy Schroeder and wife Vickie; and many greats, cousins, and friends.

Preceded in death by his Papa Gene and Mema Kaye

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera road, San Antonio, Texas 78238 on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 10:00 A.M.
