James Walker “Jim” Young
April 11, 1936 ~ January 29, 2024

James “Jim” Walker Young MD,87 of Bartlesville, OK passed away Monday, January 29, 2024, in Bartlesville, Ok.

Jim was born on April 11, 1936, in Nashville, TN to Mary (Clyde) and CC Young, MD.

He graduated from OU School of Medicine where he soon began his career in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. On November 27, 1981, he married the love of his life Sandee and the two had a wonderful family together.

He was preceded in death are his father, CC Young, MD; mother, Mary Clyde Young; brother, CC Young, MD; and sister-in-law, Mary Jo Young.

He is survived by his wife, Sandee Young; children, Kim Turney (Colin Turney), and Michael Hessert (Shannon Hessert); grandchildren, Kirstie Turney, Caleb Hessert, Joshua Hessert (Bre Ann Hessert), Mackenzee Hessert, and Karis Hessert; and great grandchildren, Brooks Walker Hessert.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his name to your charity of choice.
