Billy C. Yearout

February 7, 1928 ~ February 10, 2018

Billy C. Yearout, 90, of Bartlesville, died Saturday in Tulsa.

Billy was born the son of John Joseph and Mamie Arlene (Whaling) Yearout on February 7, 1928, in Osage County.

He grew up in a log cabin that was located next door to the Labadie School in Osage County. Once his schooling was completed Billy went to work for Harry Miller, taking care of and exercising his race horses. Billy had the distinction of serving in both the U.S. Army before the Korean War and the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

Billy married Esther Marlee and they enjoyed many years together. During his working life he owned restaurants and later worked as a painter in the construction and remodeling industry.

Billy had many passions in life including fishing, and wheeling and dealing. He was active in the VFW Post in Ponca City.

He is survived by his three brothers, John Yearout and Sandy of Dewey, Alvin Yearout and Wilma of Dewey, and Forrest Yearout and Judy of Copan. He is preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Esther, one baby son and three brothers, Robert, George and Tommy.

No formal services are planned.

Arrangements are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home.
