Catherine Ann (Holt) Yeargain

Catherine Ann (Holt) Yeargain
January 16, 1934 ~ January 4, 2019

Catherine Ann Yeargain, 84, passed away January 4, 2019. She was born January 16, 1934 in Springfield, Tennessee to Otis and Barbara Holt.

Cathy's strong Christian faith gave her the strength, guidance, and hope to overcome the overwhelming obstacles that she faced during her life. More importantly, Cathy was moved by her belief in the Lord to share these blessings to each person she met, without judgement.

She was always expressing that life is a precious gift not to be wasted in despair and worrying over the insignificant daily problems that we all face, but have little control of. Cathy's favorite saying was "This Too Shall Pass." Always the optimist, she had a unique way of conveying to all, that if we would just continue on a positive and righteous path, the promise of a better life would not be denied.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ray; and husband, Tom. She is survived by her sons: Mickey Jr., Jack, and Bart; brothers, Ronnie and Joe; sister, Linda; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. A memorial ceremony will be held 2:30pm Saturday, January 12 in the Chapel at Resthaven.
