Elliott Earl Yaw

Elliott Earl Yaw
June 16, 1939 ~ June 7, 2023

Elliott Earl Yaw was born June 16, 1939 in Dallas, Texas to Earl and Vesper (Elliott) Yaw. He passed away at his home in Wellston June 7, 2023 at the age of 83.

Elliott was a proud Texan raised mostly in Houston. He enjoyed bowling and going to the movie theater. Elliott served his country proudly in the United States Air Force for 4 years. He loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren with a heart of gold.

Elliott was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Vesper Yaw. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Peggy Yaw of the home; children, Guy Yaw and wife Angela of Jones, Dane Yaw and wife Sabrina of Norman, Jason Yaw and wife Janet of Texas, Tammy Wentzel and husband J.D. of Wellston; (16) grandchildren; (2) great-grandchildren; brother, Don Yaw of Arizona; along with other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 17, 2023 at the Wellston Assembly of God Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
