A Celebration of Life for Donna K. Wood, 68, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, November 11 in the Centennial Chapel of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home, Ardmore with Lawrence Anderson officiating.
Born May 26, 1953, at Gainesville, Texas, the daughter of Ocie Lee and Mary C. Roche Claxton, she died Wednesday, October 6, 2021. (?)
Donna grew up in Love County and attended Marietta High School. She and James "Jim" Wood were married on June 12, 1969, in Durant and they had celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary. Donna had worked numerous years as a real estate agent with the Ross Group Real Estate as an office assistant. In her leisure time Donna enjoyed painting, dancing and spending time with family and grandchildren.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Dixie Claxton.
Survivors include her loving husband, James Wood of the home; son, Scott Wood and wife Angie; grandchildren, Maddie and Lane; and a brother, Ken Claxton.
