June 1, 1989 ~ September 27, 2021

On Monday, September 27th, Christopher Daniel Witte, passed away at the age of 32.

Christopher was born on June 1, 1989 in Norman, OK to Vicki and Brian Witte. He attended Carl Albert High School in Midwest City, OK from 2003-2006 and then graduated from the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Phoenix, AZ in 2010. He lived for several years in Colorado before returning to Oklahoma in 2018 to be closer to family. Most recently, he had discovered a passion for cannabis cultivation and was in business with his mother at the Smoklahoma Grow Company.

Christopher was a free spirit who loved music and attending music festivals and concerts with friends from around the country. He enjoyed traveling, spontaneous road trips, and spending time outdoors, at the lake, and camping, and he was often seen with a canine companion by his side. He especially enjoyed hiking in the mountains during his frequent trips to Colorado. But his most precious time was spent with his son, Dallas, fishing, hiking, and playing video games together late into the night.

He is survived by his son, Dallas Watt of Choctaw, OK, his mother, Vicki Witte (Bill Goode) of Harrah, OK, his sister, Jennifer (Neal) McNabb of Cedar Rapids, IA, his grandmother, Mable Broughton of Newark, OH, his uncle, Wayne Carlisle of Oklahoma City, OK, and his cousin, Jason (Crystal) Carlisle of Oklahoma City, OK.

He was preceded in death by his father, Brian Witte, his maternal grandparents, John and Anna Carlisle, his paternal grandfather, Bob Broughton, and his uncle, Dennis Carlisle.

Due to COVID-19, there will be no memorial service, but a viewing will be held at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home in Midwest City on Sunday October 3, 2021 from 8:00am to 8:00pm and Monday October 4, 2021 from 12:00pm to 8:00pm. The family understands that COVID-19 may keep some people from attending and asks them to keep Christopher and his family in their thoughts and prayers. For those in attendance, masks and social distancing are required.
